We are failing the natural world.

A polar bear cub travelled thousands of kilometers by sea from Greenland to Iceland, desperate to survive as its home and food is disappearing—only to be met with death.

Our greed is destroying habitats, taking away resources other species need to live. And when they try to migrate for a better chance at survival, we kill them.

Earth belongs to all of us.
We must do better. 💔

A visit to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium last weekend. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our visit and what a beautiful place it is. A portion of the zoo was closed that day, the Asian Forest Sanctuary. We found out later that the closure was because they had to euthanize Suki, their Asian elephant. She was old and declining. 😥

Auch wenn dieser Eisbär sich mit dem verrotteten Walross begnügt hat (seid froh dass ihr den Gestank nicht mitbekommt! 🤢) sollte man sich diesen Tieren nicht einfach so annähern. Hier saßen wir im Schlauchboot mit zwei erfahrenen Guides die natürlich auch bewaffnet waren (ist in der Gegend generell Pflicht)
