so yes the rumors are correct (this was leaked on reddit a few days ago, oh well)
the #FLX1 will be getting support for hooking up to external displays. the difference here compared to other approaches is that it will be running full #GNOME shell instead of #Phosh desktop mode (with some integration). as much as we love Phosh, GNOME shell simply provides a superior experience on a large display (and our community members voted for this too)
While #phosh handles centered notches and rounded corners out of the box (as long as there's device info in gmobile) we didn't handle notches on the right or left display corners at all yet..
A merge request from Eugene Lepshy to add support for the #nothingphone 1 made that very obvious so I cooked some inital MR to fix this (screen shot is from a nested phosh session as I don't have such a device):

I always wanted a simple way to put the phone to silent mode when e.g. placing it on the table next to the 🛏️ . Since Biemster got NFC to work on the Oneplus 6/6T (https://github.com/biemster/pmos-openbox-conky/blob/main/nxp_nci_i2c.py) we can leverage that and have feedbackd's profile adjusted when certain RFIDs are seen (https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/feedbackd/-/merge_requests/154). For this to land we want to move the NFC support from a python script to s.th. like nfcd (https://github.com/biemster/pmos-openbox-conky/pull/18#issuecomment-2653920089). Help on this would be appreciated.

I've just joined the #LinuxMobile gang with a Redmi Note 9S, Mobile network works, Cameras works, Wifi and bluetooth works, almost everything is working on this phone!
I'll try to install #Phosh to see if it's better than #GnomeMobile !

Current state of the 🌎 shows me again how important it is that the 📱 in our pockets can stay free of surveilance and be used as their users intend to, not any corporation.

This is a small bug fix release containing stability fixes for #phosh and #phoc that shouldn't wait 'til 0.45.0. Most of them (but not all) address issues introduced in 0.44.0.

Is there an easy way I am missing to save a number from #gnome call to gnome contact using #phosh #PostmarketOS ?? In "Calls" there is a "Copy number" option on a long press, but it can't be pasted in contact app

Also thanks @awai for the #pinephonepro rental. It was used to present the slides and was flashed with #mobian trixie. People could choose between #lomiri, #phosh and #kdeplasma in the login manager.

Based on my previous failed experiments, I was not expecting to get so close on the first try (well, first now that I'm working with a functioning keyboard). By "this," I mean swipe typing using wvkbd and swipeGuess, btw.
Obviously, my word list needs tweaking. There are some words that are just impossible to swipe due to similarly located results that take precedent, but it should be possible to refine over time. There is...
