I get the error message:
"Error while searching for user accounts
If you didn't manually cancel it, try creating a #password keyring named "login" using Passwords and Keys (#seahorse) or KWalletManager"
Clicking Read More does the same as Close: the app shuts down
I've created a keyring in seahorse called 'login' and put my password in there under 'Mastodon'. I still get the same error

Huhu #FediCrowd can you recommend a #passwordManager that is secure and as comfortable to use as e.g. #stickypassword across Linux, iOS and windows? This would be a major argument to switch to Linux as main OS. #Bitwarden seems to have security issues while #keepassXC seem to be a bit uncomfortable (last time I checked it).
Please stop saving your passwords in your web browser. I will eventually be making a #YouTube video on how easy it is to scrape these passwords and what password managers I recommend. But for the love of god not Lass Pass

After 2 - 3 weeks of trying both @protonmail and @fastmail I have decided to fully switch to Proton going forward.
With Proton you get email, ProtonPass, Proton VPN and other stuff. You also get 500GB of storage instead of the measly little 100GB of storage that Fastmail offers. Notifications on Fastmail were also VERY VERY delayed most of the time, on both Android and iOS.

@protonmail are there any plans to change the fact that #ProtonPass uses the same password as our #ProtonMail, #ProtonDrive and #ProtonCalendar? It just seems like a design flaw and security concern?
For example, I can't use ProtonPass to store a randomly generated password for my email, as it uses my #Proton account. Also, assuming I now use a password for my ProtonMail, if the password becomes comprised in whatever way, my password manager is also compromised.
This effect is cascaded by the fact that ProtonPass can be used as a #passwordmanager and #2FA, so I can't use it for my 2FA for my email.
This is probably one of my few reasons to not switch from #Bitwarde.
AutoSpill attack steals credentials from Android password managers
Security researchers developed a new attack, which they named AutoSpill, to steal account credentials on Android during the autofill operation.
What I would interested in if @bitwarden and KeepassDX are also affected since they are part of the most used and secure Password managers on Android, sad to see that they excluded them from their testing.

The only emails I have received bore so little resemblance to the problems I have described that I suspect your help desk is only a bot. #security #passwordmanager #bitwarden
