So....Microsoft is purposefully obfuscating parts of the code of Minecraft Bedrock that it wasn't previously obfuscating, making it near impossible to mod in the future.😑
I hope they know that if they even THINK about doing this to Java, any future the game had will be dead.
Everyone will just consider the game complete and stay on the last un-obfuscated version.
Mods run that game. They better know their place.

I was going to make a post about the Xbox 360 store shutting down and say "countdown to the community-run alternative"
But it turned out my friend Derf (maker of Console mods .wiki) had been working on a homebrew replacement in anticipation of the shut down and within 24 hours of the Xbox Live Store on 360 shutting down his homebrew store went live!
How amazing is that? The modding community *rules!*

This is the circuit I used to make my Vectrex controller and a pic of it's insides.
The buttons were straightforward, but making the digital joystick work with an analog signal was much more complex!
Thanks to @abzman for this cad skills and putting the diagram together for me!
It took me a long time to wire it together correctly, but I'm super excited to demonstrate my new custom, handmade Vectrex controller!! 🤩

Apparently there IS such a mod: it's called "non-fatal wounds" and it's in the default add-on repository.

Is there a Battle for Wesnoth mod that removes permadeath (i.e. makes it so that when a character dies in one map you can use them again in the next map, similar to Fire Emblem's "casual mode")?

I have a question for the #Modding community. There's this game called Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2. It's an awesome game and a lot of fun to play except that the map isn't accessible for #Blind people. Unfortunately, we are not able to know where the story objectives are so we just have to essentially brute force our way through it to hopefully find the right markers. I do have an idea. With sounds, I believe it is possible to navigate through the map. Many games have been modded to add features that otherwise were not there in the origional release. If sound cues could be added to the map, that would make the game a whole lot easier for so many people that otherwise would have no chance to play it. If you want to see something like this happen, please boost for reach. I would love to be able to go through the content of the game and enjoy what millions of people already got to enjoy without much work. #Gaming, #VideoGames, #Mods, #Dragonball
