Green, lush Ragoli spreads out below as you gaze down from high up in the Dolomiti mountains. The sun is bright and the air is cool and crisp with the smell of pine. I took this photo while on the way down from Rifugio Tuckett in the beautiful limestone alps located in Swizerland, just across the border from Northern Italy. Uncharacteristically for September it had snowed the day before, crowning the distant peaks with white.
