Teeth can be very useful tools to learn about the #ecology of an animal. Even if this animal has been #extinct for 150 million years. Before you can go into that, however, you have to know to which kind of animal a tooth belonged, millions of years ago. Figuring this out is not an easy task if the only thing you have are isolated #fossil #teeth.
