My bitwarden firefox extension does this now. Firefox Linux, browser restarted serveral times. Even the workstation (should not be required in Linux)
Still this bad sign.

really disliking the new #bitwarden web plugin UI--the one thing i want to just be able to click on without thinking too much is "fill" and now it's a tiny button lost in the clutter of a bunch other stuff i use much less. bad call, @bitwarden ! just let me slap the entire bar/row for the autofill, at least.
Huhu #FediCrowd can you recommend a #passwordManager that is secure and as comfortable to use as e.g. #stickypassword across Linux, iOS and windows? This would be a major argument to switch to Linux as main OS. #Bitwarden seems to have security issues while #keepassXC seem to be a bit uncomfortable (last time I checked it).

New #Bitwarden build requirement casts doubt on #FOSS-ness
This is because of a new build requirement, added in a pull request a couple of weeks ago titled "Introduce SDK client." This SDK (software development kit) is required to compile the software from source – either the Bitwarden server or any of its client applications. The problem is that although the SDK is available, it is under a license that means it's not #opensource software.

I am curious to know if you use a #PasswordManager which one do you prefer? I prefer one that works well with both #IOS and #Windows. I am using #BitWarden. For the most part, I like it pretty well.

I am really enjoying my experience using #Bitwarden. Everything is super intuitive and straightforward to use in my opinion, and accessibility is mostly excellent across the board.
I did run into an accessibility bug in the iOS beta app though. Since said app is written in Swift / SwiftUI which I am deeply familiar with, I decided to dig into the codebase, found the problematic view, added a simple fix and opened my first PR with the project. Yup, using an open-source password manager is fun!
Yo, if anyone here uses bitwarden, know that it is acting funky on Chrome/Firefox/Vivaldi, something has changed on the way these browsers codify the password you type, thus Bitwarden might spit an error saying your password is wrong. It is not, use the same password on Edge and it will work. Even tried on different PCs with different browsers.
Already reported the issue and it seems that more users are facing the same issue as we can see on reddit.
I just learned that passkeys & Bitwarden is possible, and quite simple on GrapheneOS. Couldn't find a start to finish description on the required steps, so wrote my own.
Spoiler: Play Services are required, but it's not as bad as it sounds.

Just finished helping my grandfather solve some of his issues with #thunderbird. He didn't know how to create lists of contacts. I quickly set this up and closed maybe 1000 tabs (I don't know how he opened that many). I was also surprised to see he still uses #Firefox, although all his extensions were gone. Reinstalled #Bitwarden, #uBlockOrigin and #istilldontcareaboutcookies. Now he's fully open sourced again. He even mentioned that he thought about sponsoring Thunderbird.
OK, seems that @bitwarden for Android is supporting in fact arabic in its UI but the language is missing on the language picker.
