Also there’s the mendacious belief that the federal government serves people who don’t deserve help because they didn’t finish school, get a job, or should help themselves in some way etc.
(This lie of course doesn’t apply if maga has some misfortune—a hurricane damages his house, or he needs help with his taxes, or he needs disability income or food stamps. He deserves the help.)
