The most low-life, corporate greed, fuck-you consumer move is when #Verizon slowly removes it's per-line Auto Pay #discount.
That's right, #AutoPay on my plan has gone from $10.00 per line, down to $5.00 per line, and now being discontinued... UNLESS! I switch to another PLAN to get my $10 per line discount back!
But I don't want to change to another Plan because I fear they are manipulating me. In fact I know they are.
There should be a law against this. Verizon cites (per their online rep) that the reduction is due to increased costs and a competitive environment. But they'll give me my original discount if I *switch plans*? Fuzzy math. Coercion.
While I'm on a hot Toot here, Verizon doesn't offer chat transcripts to be emailed. I'm supposed to 'take screen shots' of a 5 minute text conversation, inside of a 6" x 3" box. This is by design, people.
