Schools in the U.S. and around the world are banning students from using their cellphones, going as far as prohibiting use during lunch and in between classes. USA Today looks at the current debate as advocates tout the benefits of the tech on campus and some educational professionals warn about the damaging affect to learning.
@TechDesk totally agree with the cellphone ban in schools, actually schools in Catalonia already aproves this rule last year and most students agreed they learn better and reduce conflicts. If it’s hard to focus as an adult with the phone next to you even without notifications on, it’s the worst for learning even more for adolescents. What sounds weird to me is the hoodie ban.. but I guess that second rule only makes sense in the US
