Saying we meet 'every fortnight' just sounds so much cooler than bi-weekly. (tho' perhaps to friends who are weakly bi it has a different ring)

#TIL fortnight is a contraction of 'fourteen nights'. There's also 'sennight' for a week. Sadly there's not a cool one for 28 or 30 except for month - that I've uncovered so far. prove me ignorant!

Decnight has been suggested for 10 days, but that'd be decadent.
