@jerzone Isn't the area called the Chain of Rocks?
@mlanger According to this the bridge is named after a rocky section of the river. I biked over it this Fall on the drive back, interesting bridge and great views.
@jerzone The Chain of Rocks is what once prevented chip traffic going up the Mississippi from making to past St Louis. There's a lock now. I took my boat through the lock there back in December 2022.
