I mean, what good is decentralized tech if only techies use them to talk about techy things? Might as well not even exist. Adoption of technologies like Mastodon, Flohmarkt, and Matrix needs to increase DRASTICALLY.

@itsalrightiguess I find great value in Mastodon and a specific Lemmy instance Feddit.dk now.
I have tried to find content to watch on PeerTube, but I have only found two things that I had previously watched in YouTube, so I have not found it useful yet.
@UlrikNyman Yeah, that's what's so frustrating! The tech is all there, but there's no content / activity because there's no network effect! And the little content / activity there is is focused on very specific topics. :(
The most frustrating thing is that the tech is available to use right now, but nobody uses it.
