@yawnbox The term Passkey doesn't have a clear agreed upon definition (yet). Every clarifying article helps - thanks!
It usually just means FIDO + user verification (replacing the password) instead of FIDO as a second factor.
That is independent of the synced vs local. If it's not synced it means you better have multiple of them or another way to recover from a lost private key.
I think it's unfortunate that KeePassXC calls the feature of storing FIDO credentials "Passkey".
