@claralistensprechen3rd @helplessduck I LOVE pickled peppers! Plan to pickle some & make some into hot sauce 🙂 I'm a huge hot sauce fan. Some friends buy assorted hot sauces on their trips just for me. Some friends also make me hot sauce flights - like beer flights but they are just large shot glasses with different hot sauces & a wee spoon for me to eat them with.
They're a prolific pepper that's not at all picky. You'd find a lot of joy (and pain, but I guess that's your thing? 😂) in my garden. I've got three dozen pepper trees and most of them are hots and super hots. I make sauces and spice blends, one in particular is very popular: Satan's Sand. Reaper, Scorpion, Habanero, and Cayenne blended with Alaea salt.
