Pierre #Poilievre musta flipped a table and had MP Michael Chong put out this retraction after yesterday's "PP's not getting a security clearance 'cause he might have skeletons in his closet" comment.

@gemelliz To any Canadian that hasn’t turned off their brain (willful ignorance demands that), the logical conclusions on PP’s security fiasco are Poilievre is compromised or MP’s are compromised or conservative party insiders are aware of compromise, or any combination of above.
That PP hasn’t resolved the fiasco by getting a clearance indicates the potential compromises are far more damaging than the fiasco itself, this has made PP incompetent to all but his willfully ignorant.

So first, it was “top secret security clearance means I would be muzzled.” [If only that was true. Many of us would enjoy the silence! 😉]
Now, it’s “top secret clearance would require gathering of a lot of personal information, and I don’t want to do that in case that information is leaked and used for political purposes.” [Every other leader has shared that same sensitive information to obtain clearance, so why would HE be afraid of political fallout? Unless…🤔]
