@ChrisMayLA6 It's worth adding something here: if you [conventionally, for lack of a better word] assault the person who sexually assaulted you, the odds the police come for you are a lot higher than them ever doing anything about the sexual assault
They don't just fail us, they make themselves an additional threat and protect sexual abusers.
