@scottwilson @Joanwestenberg i feel this deeply, and have for some time. if not people: love, friendship, conversation, what matters? certainly not your marketing funnel and streamlined checkout.
i am a technologist. tech that doesnt serve people is null value. this is a core principle.
@h2onolan @Joanwestenberg One hundred percent. I’m at a point in my career that it may be time for a new job… but… I just don’t care about any technology stuff anymore. How can I get a good job in #infosec (the only thing I know) when I’m not “passionate” about it anymore?

Scott, this is exactly what i feeling. I love IT so much, and programming is my hobby, not only my job. But the profession has become shite, and i'm really hating the work, i'm doing and got tired of it. Looking at lack of innovation, useless solution being pushed, while any human value has been lost.
I would love to change sector, but the problem is that other sectors doesn't pay as much as IT. But yeah i was feeling the same.
