The peonies have graciously staggered their blooming for me. The reds are done and the pinks are coming in.

Looking straight at a pale pink peony blossom with water drops on it. It's thick with ruffled petals. There's still a round outline, showing that it started as a tight sphere. In the background we see a couple more buds that will open soon.
