The only thing that bothers me about this whole #ladybird pronoun change drama is that no one seems to understand who the "anon" is and why PR's pronoun change was denied.
Anon is a 4chan thing, okay? we all hate that bad place, but hear me out.
They have this thing called "Anonymous" and they refer to him as, well, he/him. Changing this to they/them would make perfect sense if it was referring to the user and not a non-existent character that is usually referred to that way.
Using anon as the default username and making anon male in the first place is controversial, but that's another story.
