It was a VERY HARD thing for me to do. But I sat down a few weeks ago and said you know what, I'm not going to keep putting this off and I made the switch. Tried both Fastmail and Proton, and now I've made my decision to stick with Proton all the way.
@CliffWade I’ve used apple’s paid mail services for about 20 years now… and then also gmail, but only for the past 12 years or so. Thanks for reminding me to take a deeper look into alternatives. :)
@britt Oh, so you're not new to paying for email, unlike myself. I'd been with Gmail from day one so this was tougher to make the switch.
Definitely give them a try and move away from Gmail as soon as you can!
