Inviting Trump to be interviewed on stage at #NABJ seems to have been a good call if the goal was to put him on the ropes.

He couldn't stay on-script for a second, dodged questions, put his foot in his mouth repeatedly, and was offensive and rude. The audience laughing at his responses was satisfying.
