Time to look into alternatives.

I've been self-hosting Wallabag (@wallabag), happily, for years...but they offer an inexpensive hosted service if you don't want to go to the trouble:

I think since I turned off pocket its not a feature I was using anyway

@TechDesk @moznews We don’t have time for Pocket, a service loved by many for years, because we’re too busy building AI “features” that only tech bros want. Yup. That makes sense. 🙄

Shame, but I'll admit I mostly stopped bothering, too. I just no longer collect stuff to read it later like tht.
