Okay, so I'm a decade or two away from this age, and this initial issue isn't something I experience.
I also don't have a personal history of SA, rape, or bodily assault generally. (Unless you cound medical neglect or physical fights in school I guess?)

But... dude doctor invaded her fucking body to rewrite it per his whims, without asking or even notifying her beforehand.

That really feels like rape, to me.
I can't speak for anyone else, and I wouldn't want to, but I equally feel intense anger towards the doctor for a violation I didn't know about 2 minutes ago.

Oh my God, that is incredibly violating. How fucking dare that person make a decision about her body? This is one of those types of things that I suspect happen much more than people realize. Even if you're not famous, you may not want to make something so intimate public.

Men who think they can decide what someone else's body should be like are a scourge.

@artemis @MxVerda I know at least a half a dozen women who experienced this after giving birth. Some doctors felt it was required after an episiotomy and that an episiotomy was always required for vaginal childbirth.

@MxVerda @artemis fortunately I had an amazing midwife for both births, but in the 80s midwives with hospital privileges were few and far between.
