Today I remember the lives of the #Indigenous families and children lost because of Canadian colonialism from Turtle Island to #Gaza, who never came home because we, as white people, perpetuate great harm in the name of land theft. Today I call on my fellow Canadians to recommit to practicing decolonization, to join the #LandBack movement. To return what was never ours to take. To repair the harm, to reconcile, to move on in peace and common purpose.
