We should try to do that here-- try to buy from progressive companies headquartered in Blue states.

It gets murky fast. Target HQ is in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a solidly blue state. After Target caved, I'm done with them.
As far alcohol goes, keep buying from California vineyards. And definitely go for the Canadian Club over the Kentucky brands.
