It's #WildlifeWednesday well it's #WildlifeWednesday pretty much every day here on Vancouver Island.

I photographed this bald eagle last winter. It was keeping an eye on the carcass of a sea lion behind that log.

A bald eagle on a log looks up over its shoulder to another bald eagle flying in circles in the sky (that second bald eagle is not in the image). Behind the log there is a large patch of dry grass, the grass is yellow because it was winter. A forest is barely visible in the background.
