We had some actual sunshine today. I turned the compost, started a second heap, finally weeded the raspberry beds and added more fresh sawdust to the pathways. #GrowYourOwn #HomeGrown #NoDig #Allotment #Gardening #Compost

A half allotment plot with a wood chip mulch off centre pathway heading down towards an old wooden shed. Several growing beds either side of the path have been mulched with compost, leaves, wood chip or sawdust. Raspberry beds have been weeded and are awaiting a stable manure compost mulch. Two compost bays are in front of the shed. Beyond the shed is a plot that acts as a buffer between the allotments and a nature reserve. The buffer plot has been recently cut back.
